  • I often hear people think religion, culture, and tradition as if it means the same thing — but they’re not:

=> Religion: is a system of beliefs and practices centered on faith, worship, and spirituality.
=> Culture: is a custom of social behavior everyday life by a community of people
=> Tradition: is a historical customs passed down from one generation to another generation within a culture

Understanding their differences, helps how society evolves

  • How do you know Jesus rose from the dead?
One of the many compelling pieces of evidence I find is the radical transformation and unbreakable devotion after the Apostles saw Jesus alive.

Can you name another historical story where so many people willingly died a brutal death for a lie?
These early Christians risked everything—families, homes, jobs, and even their lives.
They traveled across nations, endured intense persecution, and ultimately went to their brutal deaths—from Paul to Peter—to proclaim a truth they had seen with their own eyes: that Jesus is God, risen from the dead.

On Ascension Day, their witness didn’t stop at the empty tomb. It continued as Jesus left them a mission—to go into the world and teach others to live by His example and by all He had commanded.

These eyewitnesses would not undergo torturous death for something they knew was false. They could have saved their lives by admitting it was a lie, but their love for Jesus and faith was stronger than any death. Their sacrifice testifies to Jesus’s life, resurrection and ascension.
